At first, my attempt was to draw him like Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, but I seriously failed at making his face all bumpy, so I did this. My sister actually told me that he kind of has that James Dean look...who ever James Dean is. I did my best with drawing blood, as you can clearly see, but I think I made it lame. Oh well, I tried. Anyway, this is my Halloween submission. A bit early, yes, but I'm going to be in Waynesboro all next week and my laptop loves to be lame and not pick up the Internet service at my grandma's. So enjoy and I hope everyone has an awesome Halloween! :pumpkin:

James Dean, by the way, was a popular actor from the 50's by the way. xD Check out 'Rebel Without a Cause' or his wikipedia, you'll see what I mean. He was the Edward Cullen of his day, just, y'know, way more awesome. xD

He really does have a great JD look here.

Of course, he was a lot better than Edward Cullen. :XD: I've seen some pictures of him at Denny's once. I know I've heard the name befoere, but there was never a face to go with it. Yeah, I need to be cultured more. :XD:

Thanks. Everything with the group is going very well. I'm amazed actually.

Oh yeah, patience isn't exactly my thing, but for some reason when it comes to drawing, I can have at it for hours. This took me almost two hours since I kept messing up. I go through computer paper like there no tomorrow.

Your sister is right, he does have a James Dean thing going on! :giggle: As for who that is, he was way before your time. Before my time too. James Dean is associated with the 1950's 'bad boy' teens with a cute, innocent look about him. He died in his early twenties, so he was only able to do a few films, one of which is what made him an icon: Rebel Without a Cause.

Basil was drawn great here and I think the blood looks fine. I knew what it was before reading your description. ;)

Ohhh, okay. I've heard the name before, but I knew knew exactly who he was.

Haha, he's... Bangelus? No, not going to use that! Let's just go with Basil as Angel (Angelus):XD: Thanks so much! It seemed more lame before I colored it. I was trying to for a "badass" look, but it wasn't really there without the color.
